Walter Lee High, the son of Charlie High, Sr. and Betty Ann High was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina. On Sunday morning, October 29, 2017, Walter transitioned through the heavenly gates as God sent His angels to escort him in.
Walter was educated in Orangeburg County District 3 and graduated from Holly Hill Roberts High School in 1992. He was an active member and Vice President of SC Association of FFA and Star District Agribusiness man. He was a member of the Masonic Temple of Anderson, South Carolina. Walter embarked upon a successful concrete finishing business with his sons, Treyvion and Jovan a few years ago.
Walter leaves to cherish his memories: his loving parents, Charlie High, Sr. and Betty Ann High; three brothers, Charlie High, Jr., Karl High, and Joey Smalls; two sisters, Carol A. High and Katrina Joyce Brown; eight children, Latrell Mack High, Tyreak Wilson, Jaquan High, Zymir High, Jayden High, Penelope High, Treyvion High, and Trenton High; a special friend, Carol Holman; and a host of family, other relatives, and friends.
He will now join his son, Walter Jovan High, Jr.; sister, Rose Ravenell;
paternal grandparents, James High, Sr. and Bess High; and maternal grandparents, Walter Lee Brunson and Blondell Brunson in the loving arms of the Lord.
