Mrs. Annie Lee Clark Jamison departed this life on Sunday, July 8, 2018, after a brief illness at the Regional Medical Center. She was born in Holly Hill, S.C. on November 29, 1932 to the late Raymond (Lottie) and Leila Keller Clark.
Annie Lee grew up in Holly Hill, S.C. and attended the public schools there.
Annie Lee joined Target A.M.E. Church at an early age. She later joined Liberty Hill Baptist Church and she also worshipped at House of God in Vance.
Annie Lee was joined in holy matrimony to the late Harry “Buster” Jamison. To this union, four children were born, which one son, William Jamison, preceded her in death. Three sisters, Leila Clark Harris, Lucille Clark Barnes and Rosa Clark Hilliard Thrower and two brothers, Walter Clark and Lowman Clark also preceded her in death.
Annie Lee leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Harry Jamison, Jr., Charlotte Jamison Nelson, and Theodore Jamison all of Holly Hill, S.C.; three sisters, Mary Lee Gadson of Holly Hill, S.C., Elsie (Rev. Samuel) Palmer of Eutawville, S.C., and Mae Liza (Harry Lee) Smith of Bronx, New York; brothers-in-law, Archie Lee Barnes of Holly Hill, S.C. and Fred Harris of Charlotte, N.C.; sisters-in-law, Edna Bradley Clark of Holly Hill, S.C. and Lula Jamison of Vance, S.C.; grandchildren, Anthony (Loretta) Jamison, Shawn (Keisha) Washington, Claudette Jamison Robinson, Sharon Delores Walker, Kamika (Willie “Corie”) Benjamin-Keitt, Danyell Benjamin, and Darnell Keitt; adopted grandchildren, Shalonda Watson, Tina Watson, LaTonya Watson, Tameka (Anthony) Watson Canty, Tyrone Watson, and Peter Kelly; great grandchildren, Ashton Washington, Trinity Jamison, Jameshia Robinson, Ra’James Robinson, Ka’Shayla Johnson, James Robinson, Jada Robinson, Ra’Nitra Walker, Braylon Keitt, and Tyler Jamison; a special friend, Betty Harrison; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
