Eva M. Elmore, 65, of 126 Oregon Street, Vance, departed this life on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Edisto Post Acute Care, Orangeburg. The final resting place will be in Felder Cemetery, Vance.
Eva Mae Elmore was the second daughter of the late Annie Mae and Eugene Elmore, Sr. She was born on November 12, 1953. She transitioned peacefully surrounded by family on March 10, 2019 at the Edisto Post Acute Health Facility in Orangeburg, SC. Eva resided in Vance, SC and attended the public schools of Orangeburg County. She was a loving caregiver and nurturer to all of her nieces and nephews.
Eva was preceded in death by her brother Johnnie Lee Elmore, Sr. and two sisters, Deloris Johnson and Patricia Ann Ramsey. She leaves to cherish her memories: five sisters, Bevaline Elmore and Betty Ruth Robinson of the home, Jannie Mae Davis and Barbara Ann Felder of Vance, SC, and Teresa Brown of Ladson, SC; two brothers, Carvin Elmore, Sr. and Eugene (Sarah Ann) Elmore, Jr. of Vance, SC; one god brother, James White, Jr. of Vance, SC, and one brother-in-law, Frank Ramsey, of Cross, SC; one nephew and two nieces reared in the home, William Robinson of North Charleston, SC, Francine Elmore of Orangeburg, SC, and Ieshia Elmore of the home; five aunts, Helen Elmore (Caregiver) and Betty Mae Jenkins, both of Vance, SC, Pernise Garner, of Santee, SC, Viola Jefferson of Newark, N.J, and Lula Mae Myers of Fayetteville, N.C, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
