James Brown, son of the late Buster Brown and Jimmie Mae Brown was born on August 14, 1961 in Eutawville, SC. He departed this life on Friday, June 1, 2018.
James was reared in Eutawville, SC and was educated in Holly Hill School District #3 and graduated in 1981.
After High School he became employed at Southern Lumber Company for a number of years. When his mother became ill he decided to quit his job to stay at home to take care of her. He’s done a very good job taking care of her.
He treated all his nieces and nephews as his children. He would call mostly every morning to check on them. Always too early in the morning. He will truly be missed by all of them.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Buster and Jimmie Mae Brown; brothers, Buster Brown Jr., Paul Brown, and Leroy Brown; and his grandmother, Leila Greene.
James leaves to cherish his loving memories: one sister, Diane Brown of Asheville, NC; two brothers, Joseph and Richard Brown of Eutawville, SC; three loving aunts, Clara Green of Moncks Corner, SC, Lurine Greene of Vance, SC, and Martha Greene of New York; three nieces, Leila Brown, Roberta Sivak, and Shauntae Brown; and three nephews, Robert Parker of New York, Lovelle Brown of Eutawville, SC, and Kevin Brown of Sumter, SC.
