Martha Washington

Martha Washington, a daughter of Isabell Washington and the late Mr. Floyd Washington was born January 21, 1950 in Eutawville, South Carolina. She entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Metropolitan Hospital in Bronx, New York.

Martha grew up in Eutawville and attended Gaillard Elementary School and Roberts High School in Holly Hill, South Carolina. She later moved to Bronx, New York where she worked at Safra National Bank where she retired.

Martha is preceded in death by four brothers, Edward Washington, Rutledge Washington, Wesley Washington, and Willie Washington.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Isabell Washington of Eutawville, SC; a brother, Floyd Washington of Eutawville, SC; four sisters, Mary Doll Mitchum, Rachael Gadson, Rebecca Washington, and Rhoda Washington all of Eutawville, SC; three sisters-in-law, Flora Mae Washington of Eutawville, SC, Deloris Washington of Eutawville, SC, and Christine Washington of Brooklyn, NY; three aunts, Mary Hudson of White Plains, NY, Lillie Tudy of North Carolina, and Bessie Dingle of Detroit, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
