Samuel Taste II

Samuel Taste, II was born on July 2, 1942 to the late Mattie and Samuel Taste in Eutawville, South Carolina. Sam Jr. was the only son of six siblings.   He departed this life on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Boston Medical Center, MA.

He grew up and Eutawville, South Carolina and graduated from Holly Hill High School.

Sam Jr. drove a 1968 6T Ford Mustang in "1968." He had multiple trophies "his prized possession" that he endured over time. he was a winner! Sam Jr. had a passion for fast cars and sports bikes.

Sam Jr. later met, fell in love, and married the late Barbara Ferrell and that union was blessed with six children.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four sisters, Annie Mae Ferguson, Lizzy Harris, Lucille Gaston, and Ernestine Brown.

Sam Jr. was a loving son, husband, brother, father, uncle, and a good friend and he will truly be missed.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his six children, Bernard Ferrell, Nikida Taste, Sam III, Alex Taste, Camille Taste, and Randy Taste; one sister, Mary Hester; grandchildren, Teshara, Porsha, Amara, Amir, Isaiah, Narell, Lil Alex, Alecia, Ciara, Alexia, Destiny, Jolie, Sam Jr. IV, Aushia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
