Watson Pugh, Jr. Obituary

Watson Pugh, Jr. affectionately known as “Jr.” and “Mr. Jr.” was born to the late Watson Sr. and Flora Pugh on March 2, 1935 in Manning, South Carolina. He departed this life on Monday, January 29, 2018 at his residence.

He was a retired mechanic from Livingston Auto Parts in North Charleston, SC after 50 years of service. He also worked at Garrett’s Body Shop & Auto in Holly Hill, SC. He was a great caregiver to his community by lending a hand in any way he could and will greatly be missed.

He is preceded in death by two sisters, Rosa Bell Warren and Annie Kay Pugh; four brothers, Robert Lee, Harold, Rogers, and Joe Louis Pugh; two brothers-in-law, Eddie Green and Donald L. Warren; and one sister-in-law, Rosa Bell Pugh.

Jr. leaves to cherish his loving memories: four daughters, Flora Jean William Powell of Paterson, NJ, Angela Miller-Singleton of Goose Creek, SC, Theresa (Charles) Gathers, and Renarda Pugh of Moncks Corner, SC; five sons, John E., Harold (Cora), Eugene (Patti) Miller of Spartanburg, SC, Joe (Linda) Miller of Smyrna, Georgia, and Leroy Miller of Lynchburg, VA; one sister, Diane Pugh Green; two brothers Larry and Willy Debbie all of Orlando, FL; a devoted special friend, Patricia Gethers and her children, Nikia, Kima, and Darren; grandchildren, Greg, Patra, Ava, and Darrian all of Eutawville, SC, Andrea F. (Marvin) Williams, and Stephanie P. (Randy) Walker; great grandchildren, Dajah Williams, Jada Walker, Katrele Green all of Patterson, NJ, Devin Miller of Atlanta, GA, Brandy Miller of N. Augusta, SC, Wanda Mitchell, Tamera, Nakisha, Chelse, Mario Gathers, Kayla Jadis, Takerion and Heaven Pugh all of Moncks Corner, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
