The Celebration of Life for Our Dear Beloved

                                                                 Mr. Daniel (Jim) Broughton

                         Sunrise:       Dec 6, 1957                              Sunset:  October 12, 2021

Jim was born Dec 06, 1957, and named Daniel Jim Broughton.  He is the son of the late, Mr. Francis Bryant Sr,. and Mrs. Mary L. Bryant.  On Tuesday, October 12, 2021, Jim was called home to eternal rest.

Jim was educated in South Carolina, Orangeburg County Public Schools, he grew up in Eutawville, SC, where he attended Roberts High School.

Jim came to Bayonne, NJ in the 70’s and lived there until he was called home by the Lord. He worked in construction for over 25 years with NJ Building Laborers until he retired in 2020.  Jim loved his family and would do anything for them.  When you saw him, he always had a big smile on his face. Jim was loved by many and had a special aurora about himself that made you love being in his presence. We are going to miss you Jim, but you will live in our hearts forever.  You were a great son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to us all. Whenever there was a family gathering, we knew that you would be there with that big smile, ready to eat and dance the night away. Jim loved his family and we loved him even more.

Preceding him in eternal rest: his loving parents (Francis Sr. & Mary Bryant), his sister Albertha Hall; his brothers: Saul Hall, Thomas Hall, Rufus Bryant, and Francis Bryant Jr.  Jim leaves to cherish his loving memories: his sister, Estelle Bryant of Bayonne, NJ, and his brother, Ernest Bryant (Anna Bell) of Eutawville, SC and Tracy Broughton of Minnesota. He also leaves behind 4 aunts: Estelle Davis (Harry) of Eutawville, SC, Sarah Barbour (William) of Philadelphia, PA, Earlene Broughton of Cross SC, and Emily Broughton of Eutawville, SC.  One uncle, Harrison Broughton of New York City. He also leaves great memories with his nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
