John Clinton, Jr., affectionately known as "Little Johnny," peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Friday, October 16, 2020.
John was born in Eutawvillle, South Carolina, on November 20,1946 to the late John & Annie Bell Clinton, Sr. John attended the public schools of Orangeburg County and South Carolina State College, where he was a running back for the football team until he was drafted for Vietnam in 1967. He faithfully served his country, was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, and awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze and Silver Star Medals.
In 1972, he married the love of his life, Delores Richardson. They resided in New York and attended Second Tabernacle Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
John was employed by UPS for 25 years. After retirement in 1995 he and his family relocated to South Carolina.
John was predeceased by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
To cherish his memories, John leaves his wife, Delores of the home, his children, Tyrone (Loutrica) of Holly Hill, SC; Tracy of New York, NY; Natasha (Rev. Luis, Jr.), and Trevor (Karen) of Columbia, SC; siblings, Paul (Ruth), Rev. Stephen (Dorothy), James of Eutawville, SC; Lizzie(Paul), Jersey City, NJ, and Mildred of Rochester, NY; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
