Raymond Daniel Maybank was born March 11th, 1950 in Berkley County to the Late Raymond and Dorothy Brown Maybank of Alvin, South Carolina.  Raymond transitioned to eternal rest on September 13th, 2021 at his residence in Cross, South Carolina.  He also had four (4) siblings who preceded him in death.

Raymond accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age.  He moved to Florida where he lived for several years.  After returning home, he met the love of his life Lollie Mae Greene Maybank, and they married on March 22, 2003.

Raymond was educated in the Public Schools of Berkeley County, although he did not complete his studies, he was very gifted in Mechanics and Logging.  He worked at the Dye plant in North Charleston, and Charleston Heart Pine Company of Jamestown where he stayed until his illness retired him.

Raymond loved to harden and cook his specialty was BBQing Hogs, he also enjoyed fishing.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving and devoted wife Lollie Mae Greene Maybank. Two sons, Joe (Jeanette) Greene of Augusta, GA., Lorenzo (Latoya) Taylor of Moncks Corner, SC., and two adopted sons, Will Sneed of Augusta, GA and Anthony Middleton of Cross, SC., One Sister Ester Kelly of Alvin, SC,  Two Brothers Maurice (Frieda) Maybank of Edisto Island, SC., and Richard Maybank of  Alvin, SC., Three Sisters in laws Antoinette Green, Rosa Lewis and Richard Pinckney both of Cross, SC., Five God Children Lisa Montgomery, Latretia Butler, Donte’ Green and Tamekia Butler  Eleven Grandchildren, One Great Grand and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
