Rebecca Brown

Ms. Rebecca Brown, 74, of North Augusta, South Carolina, transitioned from this life on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia.   Rebecca was born on June 27, 1946, in Orangeburg South Carolina to James and Ida Brown.   At an early age, Rebecca accepted the Lord as her personal Savior. Rebecca attended public school in Orangeburg County. 

In her early years, Rebecca moved to Jamaica, New York to live with her older sister Janetta Bronson while in New York she started her career as a live-in nanny.  Later, Rebecca decided to relocate to Boston Massachusetts to live with her sister Sinclair Gibbs. On May 5, 1972, Rebecca Brown gave birth to her daughter Linda Brown Mohammed.  Rebecca enjoyed being with her family and friends and was known as a  jokester.

Rebecca leaves to cherish her daughter Linden Brown Mohammad, of North Augusta, South Carolina. Three sisters, Janetta Brunson of  St. Matthews, South Carolina, Francis Gibbs of Brockton Massachusetts,  Rachel Jenkins of Eutawville, South Carolina. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and Friends.
