Ronald Morton Obituary

Mr. Ronald Morton, Sr, son of the late Joseph Bryant and the late Louise Morton, was born on June 10, 1964.  He departed this life on Monday July 27, 2020 at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston, SC.

Ronald grew up in Eutawville, SC and attended school in the local school district.  He was a member of the Roberts High School Class of 1982.  Ronald was a brick mason by profession but was definitely a jack of all trades.

On May 6, 1995, Ronald married the love of his life, Victoria M. Jefferson.  Together, they lovingly raised two children, Qualonne L. Jefferson and Ronald Morton Jr.  They were also blessed to have and adopted daughter, Christianna Jefferson, who Ronald loved dearly.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife, of the home, Victoria; one daughter, Qualonne of Charleston, SC; one son of the home, Ronald Jr.; three sisters, Delores Morton, Elizabeth Frazier, and Mattie (Michael) Gavin all of Eutawville, SC one brother-in-law, Joseph (Annetha) Jefferson of Harleyville, SC; his father-in-law, Nelson Murray; three sisters-in-law Ruby and Renee Murray and Marva (Gene-Ronald’s corn hole Buddy) Morton all of St. Stephen, SC; two aunts, Helen Telson of New Jersey and Hattie Mae Gethers of Greensboro, NC; three uncles, Benjamin Evans of Eutawville, SC, John Evans and Willie (Denise) Evans of Manassas, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
