To the High Family,
It was very disheartening learning of Walter's passing. Like
Walter, some co-workers relocated to the Anderson area from the low country to work at Santee Cooper's Rainey Generating Station. Therefore, they continued to stay informed through news publications regarding their hometown area.

Needless to say, from the newspaper, a co-worker learned of Walter's passing and informed the rest of his fellow co-workers . On several occasions, friends and co-workers from Rainey Generating Station, would often inquire amongst one another, if anyone had spoken with Walter.

Unbeknownst of his passing at the time,Tuesday morning we were sharing memories; exchanging stories and recalling all the good times we had with Walter. We spoke on how he always kept us laughing; his cool demeanor; big heart; and how he was raising his boys to be well-mannered young men.

Being that Trey and Jayvon lived with Walter while he resided in Anderson, several co-workers  grew to know them too and was aware of Walter's close connection he shared with them.We were sorry to learn of Jayvon's death and wanted to express our condolences to Walter at the time.Unfortunately, there wasn't anyone here that had a contact number where Walter could be reached in order to do so. We couldn't fathom the heartache he was experiencing from losing Jayvon.

Oddly, again on Tuesday, we were discussing how we needed to get in touch with Walter  to talk to him, if not possibly see him. Sadly, we've missed our opportunity.

High Family, we know your hearts are heavy and there aren't any words to take away the pain from losing your loved ones. We hold you all in our thoughts and prayers while we will continue to cherish and remember the good times we shared with Walter.
With deepest sympathy and condolences,
Santee Cooper- Rainey Generating Station (Former Co-Workers)

I am truly saddened to learn that you are mourning the loss of your dear love one Walter Jr.  Death is one thing that we will never get used to.   The reason is that, Almighty God has created us with everlasting life in view.   Therefore,  in the very near future,  he will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more,  neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.   The former things would have passed away.  ( Revelation 21: 3, 4)  As for the many that have fallen asleep in death,  he promise that they will be ressurrected to life,  here on earth.  ( John 5: 28, 29; Psalms 37: 29)  To learn more,  please visit jw.org.
